June 10 - Trukee, CA to Sparks, NV

We cycled through some of the most beautiful country out there … as we cycled around Lake Tahoe, then we slowly climbed up to the summit of Mt. Rose to an elevation of about 8900 feet, first we had an 8 mile climb up Mt. Rose with 6-8 percent grades. It was slow and steady yet seemed to take forever. -- Larry

June 11 - Sparks to Lovelock

The Wind Monster decided he wanted to pick on us today. We had 5 of us in a paceline trying really hard to fight back, only going 10mph. The day ahead of us was 91miles.... 10mph...91 miles...wind slamming our bikes and bodies, not so lovely. -- Adella
