Be a Hero Bike Tour

The Be a Hero Bike Tour is a 30 day cycling event in which Larry is riding. The event kicked off on June 11th 2012 in Lake Park, Florida and ends on July 11th in Washington, DC.

Scott Van Duzer, founder of the Van Duzer Foundation, organized this ride with members of the Boys and Girls clup of St. Lucie County Florida to encourage blood donations.

The foundation also is working to organize blood drives during each stop and is challenging other Boys and Girls Clubs across the county to hold blood drives during the 30-day ride.
